“New York cares”

I was so lucky to have shared my first fashion week with my family in tow.  Both my Mother and Grandmother accompanied me on my little adventure to New York City.  Being my first time in the Big Apple staying at the Waldorf Astoria was a must.  The history of this beautiful hotel is astonishing — I wish I’d had more time touring this historic building.

When I heard that Ladurée was opening it’s first US store in New York, I was overjoyed!  Recently I’ve fallen in love with macarons and have been dying to try one of their authentic french treats.  The store on the Upper East Side didn’t disappoint.

Throughout fashion week I was changing my outfits.  Here are a couple of my favorites.

Vintage Dior fur, Sea dress (currently loving this one,) Spanx tights, Prada heels, and Clare Vivier clutch.

J.Crew coat, vintage fur, Spanx tights, Alexander Wang ‘Morgan’ bag, and Zara heels.

Equipment pink top, vintage Lillie Rubin leather skirt, and Alexander McQueen bee ring.

Vintage fur, ASOS ponti pants, and Christian Louboutin decollete jazz heels.

I live for a bold print.

Now I must admit while I’m not a huge floral fan, I love a great graphic print.  I look for something geometric, involving repetition, and a limited color palette.  This Milly dress certainly fit all of my criteria.

I picked this dress to wear for my final night in Cancun.
