Last month I saw this spread in Elle Magazine and I couldn’t get over the eye makeup. I want eyes like that! Would you look at me strangely if I chose to walk around with a double cat eye? Maybe I’ll just leave it to the models…

I present to you the official Pantone color report for 2012… dun dun dunnnn!

Looks like a subway map doesn’t it?
Try to ignore that and focus on the colors. If this thing is true, spring is going to be absolutely delicious. I NEED to wear more color, I’m always in a black and white rut. I’m going to try to be more colorful… let’s start with my feet and work our way up.
Here are some fun heels in my two favorite colors of the season.

From the top left, clockwise: Jessica Simpson ‘Waleo’ spiced coral heels, Nine West ‘Look Global‘ sandals, Topshop Love ‘colour block’ sandals, B Brian Atwood ‘Fredrique’ Snake-Print Leather Platform Pumps
What is a cheap thrill you might ask?

Tough yet sweet for only $148.

This spring will be full of color and I’m ready.
I like to stretch my wardrobe as far as I can. When I get a new piece of clothing I love to think of all the different the ways I can wear it. This Limited sweater is pretty neutral, except for the bright yellow around the waist. Such a great piece to take you into spring.

Wearing in Wonderland – cardigan c/o The Limited, J.Crew skinny yellow jeans, Anthropologie tank, and Christian Louboutin ‘Twistochat’ heels.
Don’t forget the accessories…bracelets from India, Coach, and BaubleBar (similar) ring from House of Harlow 1960.
Look #2

Styled with – Blank denim flares, Diane von Furstenberg ‘Zia’ high heels, Fenton/Fallon for J.Crew earrings, and Chloe sunglasses.

Styled with – J.Crew chambray top, J.Brand skinny jeans, J.Crew and vintage necklace, ASOS sunglasses, and Boutique 9 booties.
Are you dolls looking for forward to adding some color to your wardrobe?
Usually Friday means I post the latest and greatest fashion layout of the week, but I’ve decided to mix things up. While on twitter last night I came across the new ad campaign for Oscar de la Renta… and it’s GORGEOUS.
Black and white with a splash of color – I’m in love!
Happy Friday, dolls.

I live for a bold print.
Now I must admit while I’m not a huge floral fan, I love a great graphic print. I look for something geometric, involving repetition, and a limited color palette. This Milly dress certainly fit all of my criteria.
I picked this dress to wear for my final night in Cancun.
Wearing in Wonderland - Milly ‘Elizabete’ dress, Marc by Marc Jacob wedges, Taylor Kenney earrings, J.Crew and Banana Republic bracelets.
With spring-like temperatures here in the south, (yesterday was 70 degrees!) my mind is dreaming of sleeveless tops, sandals, and skirts. But with my wallet glued shut at the moment all I can do is dream.
This little skirt from Old Navy provides maximum dreaming capability with bold colors and breezy fabric. I would pair it with a nude tank, nude sandals and tons of bangles.
Interested? No worries, it will only set you back $21 (with code NEWYOU)
Purchase it here!
EVERYTHING is 30% until 1/19 at Gap, Banana Republic, and Old Navy stores.
I may have used the I'm going to the beach excuse to pick up a couple of resort pieces recently. I knew that DFV scarf would be the perfect buy and turns out this Clu dress was as well.
I'm so sad I have to put this back into my closet for the next couple months… hurry up spring!
Wearing in Wonderland – Clu striped maxi dress, Marc by Marc Jacobs wedges, J.Crew bubble necklace, Louis Vuitton bag, and J.Crew bracelet.
When most people think Vera Wang they immediately think bridal, but it should be noted she has done so much more. She has her own fragrance, jewelry, eyewear, shoe, and houseware collections. Even a diffusion line at Kohls. On top of all that she manages to look amazing in a swimsuit at 62. Don't you just hate her?
Enjoy Vera and her gorgeous modern dream home in the spread.
