For the last part of our Austin trip we were wanting to relax.  Instead of driving around and exploring the city we were looking for a place to kick up our feet and chill.  Archer Hotel Austin gives the boutique hotel experience but with all the expectations of a large hotel.  And the location couldn’t be better if you love to shop and eat as much as I do!

Archer is located in The Domain and Domain NORTHSIDE which means the best food and shopping is just steps away from your room.  All I kept thinking while we were there is that I couldn’t wait to come back with my Mom and Gran.  (We love a girls shopping trip.)  And this hotel is perfect for that or a romantic getaway.

And even if you never leave your room you’ll never forget you’re deep in the heart of Texas.  The rooms have bluebonnet blue touches, limestone, and the MOST DELICIOUS handmade salted caramels I’ve ever had.  I know we all use the phrase “literally” too much… but they literally melt in your my mouth.  I’m craving one right now!

There’s a Sprinkles just across the street from the hotel!  It even had dog cupcakes.

Shopping in Austin — Loved stopping by Restoration Hardware, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom which were all within walking distance.
