pom pom hat + Canyon Road, Santa Fe

This pom pom hat is a complete addiction.  I first saw it when we were in Hawaii over Thanksgiving but felt really weird buying something so wintery there!  But I couldn’t stop thinking about it and ordered it as soon as we got home… and it turned out to be my favorite accessory I wore during our trip to Santa Fe!

Hopefully you saw yesterday’s post — it’s featuring some pretty tile from one of the shops in downtown Santa Fe.  Today’s post however is all about Canyon Road.  On this half mile stretch you’ll find 100† galleries, artist studios, jewelers, boutiques and restaurants.  While exploring we came across the CUTEST little French cafe and stopped for some rosé.  Next door was an artist working on a marble sculpture.  I’ve always enjoyed photography, drawing, and painting but NOT sculpting.  It’s so hard to do and I was never very good at it!  So it was amazing to just sit back and watch him work…

During the day Santa Fe was pretty warm but at night it was a different story.  Most evenings I traded my Golden Goose sneakers for these fuzzy ski boots because they are SO WARM.  I can’t recommend them enough!  They also come in 4 other colors.  I really like the black ones too but ended up going with the tan pair.  And this bag comes in so many different colors too.  The size was perfect for walking around.  As you may have noticed I prefer small bags.  As long as it fits my iPhone and lipstick I’m good to go!

Have you been to Canyon Road in Santa Fe?  Would you wear a pom pom hat?  Let me know!
