If you’ve been following along I’ve slowly been sharing all photos from our recent trip to Puerto Rico.  I’m back today with some more coverage of our trip to San Juan and our lovely stay at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.  The only problem with doing travel posts is that I always end up longing to go back, and today’s post is no different.

Our stay on the Enchanted Island was easily made even more enjoyable with help from the San Juan Ritz-Carlton.  It ended up being the perfect place to stay in San Juan, thanks to the amazing service from the staff and its quick access to the sights and flavors of the island.  Every morning we began our day in the club lounge with cappuccinos, where I tried not to eat too many pastries, and spoke to the staff about where to go next in the city.  Anytime we are lucky enough to stay with the Ritz-Carlton and enjoy their Club Level Lounge, the people always make the stay extra special.  This staff was no different, and their friendly nature coupled with the excitement they had as they offered suggestions of their home.

Between spending our time exploring Old San Juan and taking photos, we enjoyed time by the hotel pool and beach.  Most days we didn’t want to leave the hotel, but thankfully we didn’t have to since everything was there.   On my last afternoon I was surprised with the spa’s newly unveiled guava manicure and pedicure signature treatment.  It smelled like candy!  To keep you from eating the treatment (which was completely edible) it’s served with a refreshing guava mimosa.  The facility features 12,000 square feet of Caribbean spa pampering with 11 treatment rooms and is located across from the pool, so after your relaxing facial or massage you can just continue relaxing by the pool.  That along with dinner at Il Mulino was the perfect way to end our San Juan stay.

You can read and see more about our San Juan experience here and here and a big thank you to the staff of the Ritz-Carlton San Juan for making it such an magical anniversary trip!
