I love to put together an outfit, but there’s one thing I always forget to add… jewelry. (Remember this post about how I just started wearing earrings this year?) I’m starting to get more into wearing jewelry and accessorizing my outfits. And something that inspired me to do that is the gold jewelry trends for fall. I’m loving all the gold coin necklaces and hoop earrings I’ve been seeing. That’s why as I pack for New York Fashion Week I can promise you that these pieces will be going in my bag.

I’m always on the lookout for earrings that I’ll actually wear so please let me know of any pieces you’re loving – especially for fall. As many of you know, it’s the one piece of jewelry that I’ve never really gotten into. It’s not that I don’t like to wear earrings, it’s just that I always forget to. But these hoop earrings have definitively kept me giddy to put them on everyday.

Do you wear a lot of jewelry? Or is it a second thought? I have a small collections of bracelets that I always wear. (Favorite brands being David Yurman, and John Hardy.) And as for necklaces I’ve always been partial to Tiffany & Co. But I also love Jennifer Zeuner and wear her “love you more” necklace all the time! It’s a favorite of mine because that’s what my gran would always say to me growing up. Maybe I should get a gold coin necklace minted with that phrase!
