Minimalism is a style I always come back to. First of all, it’s extremely easy to replicate and it always looks polished. And even though you might think the style is about wearing less, it doesn’t mean you can’t accessorize. Like for instance, the earrings I’m wearing here. They are so simple and yet perfect. I love that I can just leave them on because they will go with everything! And since I tend to forget to wear earrings (remember this post) I love that they go with everything. I can just leave them on because I know they’ll match whatever outfit I wear next.

As for my outfit, let talk about this top. It’s slightly cropped, so you’ll want to wear it with high waisted jeans or pants. (And it’s under $30!) And the skirt will be replacing my favorite black silk skirt you saw me wear all fall and winter long. I just really like the ease of a midi length skirt and it’s so very comfortable. You could make it dressy but I prefer it with a tee or cute crop top. (Don’t worry you don’t have to show your stomach… the skirt is actually high waisted.)

And on a completely different note, there’s nothing minimalist about the trip I just came back from! I CAN’T WAIT to share with you all the details of my stay and how much fun we all had.
