Don’t you love a long weekend?

I prefer to stay home over a three day holiday weekend.  It’s like Christmas for me.  You’re receiving a gift and that gift is time.  Most weekends consist of trying to get everything in before Sunday night rolls around.  However, with a three day weekend it’s almost like you have two Saturdays.  Or two Sundays, depending on how you want to look at it.

Everything’s a little slower.  The weekend feels a little less rushed.  And I’m taking the time to enjoy… TIME.  Do you feel that way too?

As far as my plans, this Memorial Day weekend I will be spending it by my family’s pool and celebrating my Mom’s birthday.  (And I hope to continue the spring cleaning I started a couple weeks ago.. and never finished.)  Also I’ll be doing as much yoga as I can because, I’m shocked to admit, that I’ve become a bit of yogi!

Staud Moreau bag

Can you believe this bag?  My husband calls it my flower pot bag.  I guess it DOES look a little like a flower pot, doesn’t it?  I really wanted the all brown version but it keeps selling out.  (And is still sold out.)  But I’m kind of glad I ended up with this one because I like the white handle.
