Can you believe that Memorial Day weekend is upon us? That means summer is basically here! But as for the weather, it’s been kind of all over the place lately. First of all it’s been raining nonstop which has been great for the plants but I’m so ready for some sunshine! (Speaking of sun, did you see my Vegas post?) As our weather transitions into the steamy days of summer I wanted to share what I’m shopping for this season.
Poplin Shirtdress
I find a drop waist dress so flattering and this one from En Saison is so cute. I like how you can wear it with everything from sneakers to sandals. This poplin shirtdress can be worn to work, out to dinner, or for a baby or wedding shower. And with it’s roomy fit, I bet it would work if you are pregnant too!
Rompers for summer
I found a new favorite brand when it comes to rompers — Pistola Denim makes utilitarian look chic with their new rompers. Great to throw in you bag for a weekend getaway. (Hurry though, they keep selling out!)
For a more high end romper, love this one from Marissa Webb. It was the best fit and is so flattering too. I paired it with these comfortable slides from Sam Edelman. If you’re looking for an immediate shoe update for your closet I would say a pair of modern slides are a must!
Romantic tops
Right now one trend I’m loving is romantic tops. ASTR makes some of the best and I posted some earlier this year. This one has a cropped fit so be sure to wear them with a pair of high waisted denim like this pair from Madewell.
On sneakers
As far as fitness, with summer almost here that means getting back into shape. I’m really loving my On sneakers because they are so lightweight, comfortable, and look cute with joggers if I’m out and running errands. I have a white pair but I know these pink ones have been popular too!
