As someone who just focuses on dresses or jeans, I don’t often post about pants. But then I noticed something… some of my most popular posts have featured pants. Like this one about monochromatic styling and most recently this how to wear track pants post. (Those pants were my most click item last week!) So I’m going to take the hint and post an army green tie front pants outfit! Why green pants again? Because the first pair (in the monochromatic post) sold out and these look just like them BUT even better!

Now there is one rule when it comes to tie front pants a/k/a paper bag pants. You MUST tuck your top in. Period. End of story. Otherwise it can look completely unflattering! So go for a bodysuit like this one, or a top that you know will stay tucked in easily. If the back of the pants are flat you can rock a half tuck if you wish! Focus on keeping the top slim so the pants stand out.
