Saying goodbye to fall is going to be hard. Can you believe we have snow in our forecast TWICE in the next couple days?! While I do LOVE snow, I also love fall weather and crisp leaves. I swear, autumn always goes by waaaay too quickly. When planning these photos I actually had to tell my husband not to clean up the leaves outside. (He said that was such a blogger thing to say, haha.) But I needed them for styling these pleated plaid pants!

I truly live for this time of year but I get so sad by how quickly it goes by. Luckily I have these photos to look back on –and this outfit! These perfectly pleated plaid pants were just made for fall, don’t you think? When picking them out I envisioned them surrounded by crispy fall leaves… and the rest is blog history!

(Funny fact — To get the leaves flying around, my Gran threw them up in the air on cue. She’s not only my neighbor and assistant… but she’s now my art director!)

In these photos you get a little glimpse of our patio which I’ve been S L O W L Y redoing. First, I painted the concrete, next we hung outdoor curtains, and now we’re planning on changing out one of the flowers beds. Nothing ever grows there so it might as well just be a rock garden, especially since I kill everything I plant.  (I definitely don’t have a green thumb… I’ve actually killed 3 succulents!) To get my fall patio inspiration I’ve been pinning like crazy. It’s funny at times I kind of forget about Pinterest but then I fall back in love with it.
