Top c/o Endless Rose, Shoes c/o KRISTIN CAVALLARI

If I had to pick my favorite meal it would be brunch.  It’s probably because I have a huge sweet tooth and it’s the only meal where it’s completely acceptable to drown your plate in maple syrup… oh and drink before 11 am, haha.  Every weekend I look forward to brunch no matter if it’s at a new restaurant, a favorite brunch spot, or we’re making healthy pancakes at home.

And about this outfit…

You all KNOW I love a ruffle.  So finding this one for under $100 was such a score!  And these jeans have a vintage look with a modern fit.  Unfortunately they are quickly selling out but if you want the same look check out this pair!

And about the bag…

Can you believe this bag is almost older than I am?  It’s my mom’s and I love how Gucci brought back this design(The Ophidia Gucci collection is just like their bags from the 80s.) . So instead of dreaming about these bags I can just raid her closet instead — thanks Mom!!  Do you like this vintage style too?  Admittedly I’m just wanting everything Gucci right now… but that’s nothing new.

New brunch spot in OKC

This past weekend we checked out the adorable Buttermilk in the Paseo District.  Even though they primarily offer biscuits and hash browns, I was thrilled to see that they also have a smoothie bowl (aka an acai bowl).  Because even though I do believe in indulging I also want to eat things that are actually good for me!  That’s the one problem my husband and I always come across when we go out — finding options that are healthy but tasty too.  So this little bowl was such a pleasant surprise. (And yes, I tried the biscuits too… the mini blueberry ones were amazing!)  If you’re in OKC you must check it out.
