Chloe pixie bag, vintage style, and why I love a bag splurge

Shop this look

Vintage fashion is a favorite of mine.  When I saw this dress it immediately reminded me of a Chloe dress from the 70s that I saw on Pinterest a while back.  I haven’t had time to search for vintage pieces like I used to but I love checking out Sea of Shoes to get my vintage fix.  She has the most amazing collection!

But today let’s talk trends.  I think the “boho” trend is one that people kept saying will go away but never does.  Honesty I find that I always return to the 70s inspired style too.  And let me tell you, Chloe is THE brand that represents it best.

You’ve probably noticed I’ve been carrying this bag over the past couple months.  The Chloe Pixie bag is the latest bag from their winter collection and it’s beyond dreamy.  What I love about it is the shape is so DIFFERENT than any other bag I’ve had.  And I must mention that since it’s a designer brand I know it’s obviously a splurgeBUT…  if you scroll down I linked to a similar version for less.

The great thing about splurging on a designer bag is that when you are ready for a new one you can sell it.  There are so many amazing resale shops (eBay, The Real Real) that you can sell them on and get a great price.  That’s how I’m always getting new bags… I love to buy and sell them.  It’s like a sport for me!  So if you’re looking for a new bag or trying to track down one for less just let me know.  I’m always up to the challenge!

Do you love the newest Chloe style too?  Let me know in the comments!
