stores at Classen Curve + gift ideas just in time for Christmas

As Christmas creeps closer I wanted to share my favorite place to shop locally.  Classen Curve has been one of my favorite shopping spots for years.  It continues to grow with more amazing shops opening up all the time.  Today I’ll be sharing the newest stores at Classen Curve, along with the name of a major furniture store opening soon!

Cos Bar Oklahoma City, stores at Classen Curve

Cos Bar  /// Mix makeup and luxury and that’s what this store offers!  We actually visited their original location in Aspen last month and dare I say, Cos Bar Oklahoma City is better!  It’s such a beautiful establishment filled with some of the most sought after brands.  The staff is equally impressive and knowledgeable with great recommendations to offer.  They now have me hooked on two Tom Ford shades (see one in the photo above) that I never would have tried without their suggestions.  The boutique has a large section of luxe label perfumes and colognes which is a perfect place to do a little gift shopping in.

Athleta OKC, Allyson in Wonderland

Athleta /// This time of year my workouts tend to slip a bit.  Holiday parties and events take over and instead of finishing my workout, I’m more likely to be finishing a glass of bubbly.  That is where Athleta comes in!  This fashionable fitness wear store is designed for and by women.  They create workout and lifestyle wear for women in all sizes and even for girls too.  Athleta is also very active in the community and hosts many fun events.  (I’m looking at you, yoga and live music!)

Boardroom Classen Curve, stores at Classen Curve Oklahoma City

Boardroom OKC, stores at Classen Curve

Boardroom Salon /// And let’s not forget about the guys.  My husband, like me, is hard to shop for.  I get sick of buying clothing for him (then having to return it) and I never know what kind of tech gift he will want.  At Boardroom they offer a complete grooming experience for their customers in a masculine environment reminiscent of a 1920s barber shop.  Their services range from haircuts to hand and foot treatments.  I’m thinking of purchasing one of the membership packages so my hubby can have his beard trimmed professionally and get some much needed pampering too.

Evereve /// Imagine a store that envisions a fashion brand JUST for moms… that IS Evereve.  They specialize in styling moms and even have an adorable section for the kiddos to play in while mom shops.  You can find some of my FAVORITE brands (Blank NYC, Free People) there too, and they will happily style you for free.

francesca’s /// Need a quick gift?  Drop into francesca’s for that perfect present for your girlfriends, sister, or something any mom will love.  And go ahead and look around for yourself too because they offer an adorable selection of jewelry and clothing as well!

Soft Surroundings /// Speaking of mom, if you’re looking for something cozy and comfy to gift your mom, stop by Soft Surroundings.  The name basically says it all!  They specialize in pjs, robes, beautiful linens, makeup, and tons of gift ideas.  If Sunday mornings had a store, this would be it!

Float The Spa /// I love any place with the word “spa” in the title and this one is unlike any spa I’ve ever been to.  Here you can experience “flotation therapy” which promises to help anything from sore muscles to anxiety.  I haven’t tried it yet, but I can’t wait to float my worries away!  Plus they also have a massage/float package which is the perfect gift for any stressed out people in your life — including you!

And coming soon… Bassett Furniture!  This company has been creating custom furniture for over 100 years and will be a wonderful addition to the Curve.  Which store(s) will you be shopping this holiday season?  And have you ever tried floatation therapy??  I want to know!
