A classic long vest has so many different uses and one of the reasons you have seen me styling so many here on AiW (Like so… Wool trench // plaid // fur // drape front // fringe.) It’s a piece that can completely transform a dress, give length to a top, or add a little warmth when you need it. The one I’m wearing will be perfect for going into summer — its delicate lightweight build gives the classic look of a trench without the bulk. The ability to layer your outfit is also a huge perk of wearing a vest over a full coat or jacket. That way you have a little more wiggle room to style your outfit and either leave it on all day or not. No coat is going to let you do that!
You can see I decided to keep the black fringe heels too! The price was just too good not to keep both haha. Regarding sizing, I’ve had a few questions if you run between sizes. I’m a 7.5 and stepped up to the 8 because I wanted a little extra room. That way they are more comfortable if I’m wearing them all day. So I definitely recommend sizing up if you’re looking to get a pair — or for that great price, maybe a couple of pairs!
