Growing up I would always read in my magazines that you need to be careful who waxes your eyebrows. While I had a place that I trusted, I was in a hurry one day and decided to pop into the nearest salon instead. That turned out to be a massive mistake. As soon as I heard the rip, the woman doing it quickly ran out of the room and returned with her manager. I was left without half an eyebrow and a lot of apologies! I ended up cutting my bangs to cover up the missing brow, which luckily grew back rather quickly.
Mistakes happen and in a funny turn of events I randomly became good friends with the sister of the girl who waxed off my eyebrow. (The sister no longer does waxing, I think I traumatized her!) So it turns out the magazine’s advice was spot on, you should be careful who you let touch your brows, because you never know when bushy brows will be back in style.
Which brings us to today…
(With and without Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil)
Brow are back and as bold as the 80s. Mine aren’t thin but they’re not thick either, so I pencil them in a little every morning. You can see above the difference it makes in my makeup. The Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil is a great tool for adding dimension and making your brows look more defined. It comes in 9 colors so you’re sure to find the perfect match!
Now I gotta ask… do you have any brow horror stories?
