I’m doing a little return to what I like to call my ‘blogging in black and white’ series.  Mainly because this top has a black and white vibe but also because I would love to hear from some of my fellow bloggers!

It started when I had a party to attend which I promptly used as an excuse to buy this outfit.  I’m not really a crop top kind of gal so I loved how the skirt covered my stomach when I wore the top.  When it comes to wearing JUST the top though, I have to go for a high-waisted style of pants.  As a blogger, I’ve noticed one thing that you all don’t seem to like is anything high-waisted or flared pants.  While I’m on the fence about high-waisted anything, flared jeans will always be a favorite of mine.

So I ask other bloggers… do you feel like you can’t blog about what you truly like because others don’t?  Do you feel pressured to change your style?  For me I do, but no matter what I’ll keep wearing my flares.  I like the 70s rock and roll vibe that goes with them.  And if you know anything about me, you know I love Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix as much as I love My Morning Jacket.  But that’s a whole other topic…

Let me know in the comments!
