During the Christmas holiday I was too busy to finish posting the rest of our Hawaiian trip photos. There were a few places, actually my favorite places, that I didn’t get to show you. Now I’ve been going to Oahu off and on since I was 15 with my family. In that time I’ve found a few favorite spots I’d like to share with you.
The photos above were taking at that stunning Halona Beach Cove. This famous beach was where the classic film From Here to Eternity was filmed. Next to the cove is a blowhole, which is an equally famous tourist attraction. In the winter I hear it’s one of the best spots to whale watch.
The scarf is from DVF, click above for similar versions.
The Halekulani Hotel is the most luxurious resort on the island. The hotel’s restaurant House Without a Key has the best coconut cake I’ve ever tasted! Make sure to stay for the hula show at sunset.
You can see more pictures of this elegant hotel and outfit details here and here.
The North Shore beach is where the world’s best surfers come to show off their skills.
With an extremely dangerous current, you won’t catch me getting in that water. I can barely swim!
On your way to the North Shore, make a pit stop at the Dole Plantation. It’s home to the world’s largest maze and some of the tastiest, freshest pineapple ice cream you’ll ever have.
My favorite outfit of the trip was this dreamy dress and Gorjana ‘Bali’ ring.
Find details here.
I FINALLY tried my first açaí bowl at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. I might be a little addicted now!
Do any of you know where to get one in OKC?

When in Honolulu you have to taste the world famous malasadas from Leonard’s Bakery.
They are a little bit of heaven.
The Royal Hawaiian was the first resort on the island and is still one of the most treasured locations on Oahu.
Find out more about the hotel and a surprise announcement here!
When leaving for vacation, it’s always good to bring home a souvenir. My Flash Tattoos made me feel like I was still at the beach even though I was about to board the plane home.
Other notable places include…
Best shopping /// Ala Moana Mall and 2100 Kalakaua Avenue (also know as Luxury Row)
Snorking /// Hanauma Bay (good for beginners)
Hiking /// Diamond Head (the view is worth it!)
Museum /// Pearl Harbor Memorial
Ciao Oahu, I can’t wait to see you again!
Planning a trip? Message me and I would be happy to give you a list of some of my other favorite spots. XO Ally
