If I were to design a summer dress, it would look a lot like this one…

Designing is something I constantly think about.  It’s also something I’ve been doing since middle school.  I’ve always thought that one day I would actually take the plunge… but obviously haven’t yet.  There’s a way I want to go about it that hasn’t happened yet.  Just going for it on my own scares me to death!

Is there something you’ve always wanted to do that scares you?  I know they say, “if money were no object what would you do,” then whatever your answer is happens to be what you are meant to do.  Like if you want to travel the world, then become a travel writer, etc.  So for me it would be to design clothing… so I better get on it!

But back to this dress… why is it so great?  For me it’s the ruffled criss cross strap back.  So girly and so adorable, right!   And this dress is under $80, which makes it a great and affordable option for summer.  I envision wearing it on a hot summer night with sandals or slides…

And speaking of slides I’ve been working on a HUGE sandal round up, and it will definitely include these Dolce Vitas that I’m wearing.  And these and these… stay tuned friends!
