I cannot believe it’s almost pool season. (But with this side tie cold shoulder maxi, I’m ready!)

A couple weeks ago I attended a Sole Society pool party in Dallas.   When the invitation said “pool inspired attire” I had one of those what-am-I-supposed-to-wear moments.  I know you have those too!  Side note, would any of you be interested in a “How to Dress for ______” section on the blog to answer those kinds of questions?  It’s something I’ve been thinking about!

Moving on, the dress I’m wearing has so many amazing details (lace, flowers, side ties, and an illusion skirt) that I was shocked to find the price was under $100.  I loved it so much that I just ordered more dresses from the same brand for my upcoming trip to Vegas.  (For a sneak peek, it was this one and this one)

I can’t explain how excited I am for our trip.  My husband and I have been working so much lately that I can’t wait to just party for three days straight.  Even though neither of us really gamble, we both just love Vegas.  I blame all the shopping and amazing restaurants.  And the fact that my cell phone doesn’t work very well in the casinos.  It forces me to unplug!

Getting back to the Sole Society party… I had so much fun meeting up with some of my favorite blogger friends and getting to see some of the new pieces from the brand.  I actually had a few of them arrive at my door yesterday and I’ll be sharing them over on Instagram Stories.  It took me awhile but I’m FINALLY getting into using it more often.  I love hearing back from you all — so send me a message and let me know what you think!
