Since it’s a new week, I would like to talk about the new start I’m about to undertake with AiW.  I would like to venture out of my usual outfit post routine, which means I’d love to hear from YOU and what you want more of!  (Don’t worry my outfit posts aren’t going anywhere.)  With the new year in full swing, I’m working on cultivating something different and I hope you’ll follow along.  Speaking of different, my weekend was spent painting my soon to be home office.  As I said, this year is all about change… in more ways than one!

 As for today’s post, I’m excited to share that it’s on the amazingly affordable side… with both the star pieces available for under $65.

This jacket is a favorite that you’ve probably seen on me many times but the dress is a new addition.  Fair warning, it’s on the short side, so be prepared to flash some leg while wearing it.  I would recommend tights or OTK boots.

It also can look cute as a top and it just so happens to be marked down.  The piece’s vintage vibe just screamed me and I think it would be super cute when paired with a choker.  By the way, are you following my Facebook?  Last week we were talking about the choker trend… and the person who ruined it!  For me however, the trend was thankfully revived by Michelle Williams at the Golden Globes last night.  I thought she just looked darling!

Now that the show is over, who do you think was the best dress?  I can’t decide but I thought Emma Stone was definitely among the best.  Let me know your favorites and what kind of posts you want to see on an all new year of AiW!
