As a fashion blogger, I generally spend my days working from home, so by the weekend I look forward to getting out of the house and doing my shopping in person. If you’ve ever wondered where I shop when I’m off-the-clock, then stick around to see what happened this past Saturday…
A good Saturday morning usually involves my favorite designers like Ted Baker + Nha Khan. Both are available at Liberté.
After a little personal shopping, I headed over to Uptown Kids to pick up a surprise gift for a friend. Aren’t these football socks just the cutest find!
I may be an adult but that doesn’t mean I’m too old for candy. Thank you Uptown Candy, don’t mind if I do…
Before continuing, my husband joined me for a healthy lunch at Coolgreens. I could say it was to make up for the morning candy, but I just love their salads. With the hubby in tow, we headed over to Luxe Objects to find a housewarming present for our new neighbor (who just happens to be my Gran!) Grocery shopping might not have been on our agenda but I just had to check out the Plaza’s new Trader Joe’s. I won’t confirm or deny if a few darling decorative gourds made their way into my bag…
By then the unseasonable warm weather gave us the urge to stop by Pops for a refreshing soda pop. I went straight for my favorite the Sunkist Orange while he tried a Fanta Grape soda. Then it was time to get back to the shopping…
At this point we decided to split up. I stayed in the Plaza to do some more shopping, while he headed to the Curve. That’s when I found these fabulous fringe booties along with the coziest Vince sweater at CK and CO.
By then it was time for his appointment over to Carwin’s for a relaxing shave. Then he decided it was time for him to do some of his own shopping…
Even though it’s still warm out, I think he found himself a new jacket at Q Clothier.
To end a wonderfully relaxing day of shopping, I explored Balliets and their always amazing shoe department. Let me introduce you to my friends; Choo, Chloe, and Aquazzura. Aren’t they the best!
As we all know all good things must come to an end, so by then it was time to get back to business. A quick walk next door to Cafe 501 and I was ready for a drink and a quick check of my email. Shouldn’t all business involve a little wine?
When you find yourself in the OKC Metro be sure to check out the Classen Curve and Nichols Hills Plaza. There are no better shopping options in the city which is why they’re my favorite spots! That being the case, I’m very excited about their upcoming special event The Gathering.
Happening this Saturday, October 22nd from 6:00 – 11:00 pm. This event will combine all your favorite stores and restaurants from both the Classen Curve & Nichols Hills Plaza for an evening of fashion, college football, and some good eats.
