This weekend I was back in Texas to visit my grandfather (Pop) who has been quite sick.  Usually when packing to travel south I tend to pack lighter, but this weekend I was so wrong.  It felt like it was the coldest weekend so far!  I happened to throw this black, white, and plaid cardigan in my bag thinking I would be hot in it, when in fact it kept me warm all weekend long.

With my Pop being sick it has been very difficult for me to concentrate on anything else.  My mind is with him even though he’s back to being a state away.  It’s been extremely stressful for our family but we’re trying to find humor in the little things.  For instance, this crazy jacket I wore this weekend.  My husband couldn’t stop laughing at it because he felt I looked like a walking muppet, but that’s kind of why I loved it!  I’ll share pictures of it later this week but here’s a peek at its craziness…
