After a wonderful first day at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, not to mention some delicious s’mores, we headed back to our room to get ready for dinner. Even though the hotel is somewhat of a drive from town, there’s no need to worry because there are two main restaurants located on the property. For lunch or a more casual dinner, Buffalos serves a wide assortment of local and organic Colorado specialties. Being our first night, we decided to kick off the trip on a high note and chose their second restaurant Spago. The venue is simply gorgeous and I would kill for one of those cow hide chairs! Aren’t they amazing? Now being at Spago, I just had to get one of his signature pizzas. It might not be the most exciting sounding dish but it was exactly what I had been craving all along. With a big glass of red wine, it was perfect!
Our room was located on the Club Level which offers exclusive access to the Club Lounge. It boasts a large complimentary assortment of hors d’oeuvre style items served throughout the day, along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. It was wonderfully convenient to have a snack at any point during our stay or to just grab a coffee before a hike. The open bar didn’t hurt either! With all that said, what made the Club Level Lounge so memorable were the incredibly gracious and attentive staff that were always on duty. In particular, Daniella and Cathy were fabulous and truly made our whole stay feel like home. They were both quick to offer suggestions and advice on what to do and see next, while being attentive to any of our needs. They sold me on Club Level for any of my future trips, and I look forward to returning and visiting them again.
Check back next week to see us visit the gorgeous town of Vail! And don’t forget to click on the links below to shop my outfit…
