Landing in the capital of Kingston, it is a short drive through the city to reach the Round Hill. Upon entering the main gate you’re greeted by its lush vegetation lining the road and fleeting glimpses of the spectacular private villas. Once I spotted those famous stripe awnings, I knew we had finally arrived at this historic hotel. After a warm welcome by the staff and a delicious rum punch cocktail, we were escorted to our room located in the pineapple house. I have to admit I wasn’t prepared for the magnificent view that we were treated to upon entering our room. It felt like I was living in a movie! (More on that coming up tomorrow.)
As for my attire, I packed this black, white, and green Ella Moss off the shoulder dress knowing that it reminded me of the hotel’s lobby. Its pattern draws upon the similar black and white square design found throughout the hotel’s iconic lobby. It was the perfect little accent piece to celebrate our arrival.
