The black dress is an essential that every woman needs.

I have my share of them.  LBD’s can be formal, casual, or anything in between.  I used to have a BCBG black dress that my friends would always borrow in times of emergency.  Which included interviews, first dates, etc.

It was a trusty dress but I think I’ve found its replacement.  This dress from Norma Kamali is comfortable, doesn’t wrinkle, and can be dressy or funky with a simple change of accessories.  And the best part is it’s under $100 and comes in several different styles.

Style note — Instead of the usual black heels I went with a nude pair to elongate my legs.  In case you didn’t know I’m on the short side and need all the help I can get!
