I was going to start this by saying we’re in the dog days of summer…. but I was wrong. Did you know that’s an actual time period?! It takes place July 3rd through August 11th. While we’re now past those dog days of summer, it certainly doesn’t feel like it. As I type this we’re having one of the hottest days of summer so far. And I know we’ve got more to come! So here are my Shopbop August picks for going into fall… I can’t wait!

Summer continues but admittedly my mind will be looking forward to fall. Thankfully there are some dresses that you can get away with wearing now AND when the temperatures finally begin to cool down. Like this stripe open back dress! It will be just as cute on the beach as it will be paired with a denim jacket. And of course, my Balmain bag. I’ve gotten so much use out of it!

I found the BEST summer to fall dress! This plaid Free People dress can be worn so many ways. I can see it as a duster with shorts and a tank top, with jeans, or on its own with braided sandals or boots. It looks even better with a belt too.

Puff sleeves please

And because I can’t have a dress round up without sharing a puff sleeve dress here’s my current obsession! This BAUM UND PFERDGARTEN dress has the best shape and can be worn with or without a belt. They designed some cute shorts in this same fabric which I like as well. And as for these Stella McCartney heels there are several versions featuring a chain detail.
