Hellooooo summer!!! Since having Nico, summer is a whole different experience for me. It’s so much better! (Honestly I have never liked summer, I’m a fall girl at heart.) We took him to an art museum (I wore the Rebecca Minkoff dress above.) And he loved looking at everything. Since this kid was born during quarantine, even getting to see people is a big deal! But let’s get to fashion… like these one piece swimsuits below…
one piece swimsuits
And even small things like getting into the pool becomes an adventure. This kid loves water! So we’ve invested in some cute pool toys from Sunnylife. Plus, it’s also giving me an excuse to buy more one piece swimsuits! Especially loving one piece swimsuits from brands like Madewell and BOUND by bond-eye Australia. (As seen above.)
Padded shoulder tee trend
Don’t call them shoulder pads… call them padded shoulders haha. This 80s trends (has been rebranded and looks more polished and modern. With the top above, I love how this strong look takes a feminine girly turn in gingham. It looks really cute with jeans but since it’s been so hot I’ve been wearing it with shorts.
Lounging around
Varley has quickly become one of my favorite loungewear brands. They have the best fabrics and fit of any activewear line out there. And this terrycloth set has a cute retro vibe… especially when paired with this headband? Who knew Loeffler Randell was making headbands now?!
Cute coverups
I can’t say no to a fringe/tassel detail. Can you? So when I saw this Roller Rabbit dress I knew it was meant to be. It comes in navy and black too… you may want to collect all three!
