A couple weeks ago I had a party coming up and wasn’t sure what to wear. Normally this wouldn’t be big deal except this time the party was being filmed! So I googled what to wear when you’re in front of a camera… no big patterns, no bold patterns, stick to solids, and basically keep it simple. I also read that all white or black can be hard to film so I went with lace.

The party was for the Rent my Wardrobe app. It’s an app that allows you to easily rent an outfit locally — and in this case in Dallas. I actually shared a room with the creator of the app when I was at SXSW and of course told her we needed it here in OKC! (She said is should be coming soon so go download it!) And for all my Dallas readers, you should definitely check out the app and use it the next time you have a party and don’t know what to wear!

And about that Real Housewives party…

At the party for the app we knew that it was being filmed for Bravo’s Real Housewives of Dallas. While I have no idea if it will make it on air I have to share my outfit with you all! This pretty lace dress has the most amazing sleeves and will get you a million compliments. (People were stopping me all night!) And I just thought it’s something a real housewife might wear haha. Can’t wait to see how it looks on air!
