Sleeping has never been a problem for me. I’ve always been a STRONG sleeper. (It takes me around 5 to 10 minutes to fall asleep most nights.) But the one problem I’ve always had is waking up on time. Since I’m such a strong sleeper, it makes it impossible for me to wake up on time!
My super power is sleep
When Ricardo and I were first married he would always leave for work before me. One morning he had a feeling that I had slept in. (Keep in mind I’m a talented sleep-talker — I can have a FULL conversation with you while still asleep.) So he called me over and over and over and I didn’t answer. He rushed home (thinking something was wrong) and I was still completely asleep! (Even my 3 alarm clocks didn’t wake me up.)

Honest Boll + Branch review
And here’s how I’ve *somewhat* done it. First, I had to go to bed early which was VERY hard for this night owl. I’ll take a hot bubble bath to get sleepy, and the collapse in my Boll + Branch sheets. Let me tell you, they just get softer and softer. Truly! We’ve had them for 3 months now and they just get better and better. And combining them with this spray makes me instantly relaxed and ready to sleep.

Becoming a morning person
We got this “wake-up” light that slowly gets brighter between 20 to 40 minutes prior to your alarm time to gently wake you up. And it actually really did help! However, since I always need back up we installed these light bulbs in the lamps on our night stand. They can be controlled by your phone or Alexa and we put them on a timer to come on when we need to be up. Surprisingly these little changes really helped us start becoming earlier risers.

Now we’re not completely converted (this weekend we stayed up till 2 and got up at 9) but we’re so much better than we used to be! I’ll always be a night owl but I’ve been getting up around 6:45 to 7:30am consistently because of everything above. So I hope if you’re looking to sleep better or get up earlier you’ll benefit from these tricks too!
