Weeknights are always rushed. My work schedule is all over the place and after my husband gets off work he goes straight to the gym. By the time 7:00 pm rolls around we’re playing the “what do you want for dinner” game. Even though I’m sometimes tempted to just eat in front of my computer and work, we really try to take time to enjoy a meal together and relax over a glass of wine.
Delicious in a hurry
Since we’re both foodies, it’s hard to prepare a delicious meal… in a hurry. We all know special things tend to take time but there’s one meal that we love to prepare in rush that still hits the spot. We just boil frozen ravioli (I think butternut squash ravioli works best) and make a quick sauce by heating some butter in a pan and then adding garlic, walnuts, dried sage and some pasta water along with salt and pepper. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and sprinkle on some grated parmesan cheese. And voila! But don’t forget the wine! The dish pairs perfectly with this Cavit Pinot Grigio. It cuts through all that rich butter while leaving you with a hint of fruit.
Cheers with Cavit Pinot Grigio
This light crisp white wine works well with anything from a chicken piccata to a beautiful cheese plate. So, this holiday season when you’re looking for something to go with all those rich appetizers and creamy dishes, try a bottle of Cavit Pinot Grigio!
Cheers friends!
