We are always on the go. In this fast-paced crazy world of ours I know I’m not the only person who sometimes can’t remember the last time they sat down. I know that’s especially true for those of you in the medical field.

My brother in-law is a doctor and he’ll occasionally send me funny fashion trends to gauge if I would ever wear them. (High heel Crocs… never!!!). He recently asked me about a shoe brand called Rothy’s. I must admit I’d never heard of them (hey, I can’t be up to date on everything) and he said they were made from recycled water bottles…

I figured they’d be about as exciting as water bottles cut in half with straps on them. In my mind I pictured water bottle Birkenstock. So, I googled them and was immediately surprised that they looked like regular flats… but cuter! I was drawn to a bright yellow pair with a strip down the back and a fun leopard print with red trim. And I ordered them both!

When they arrived in the mail I knew why all his fellow healthcare professionals loved them… they are not only cute but so COMFORTABLE!

For once one of his crazy trends that he sent me was a good thing. Cute, comfy AND good for the environment? Works for me. I love that they have already made shoes using 10 million recycled water bottles!
