I had heard the coast of Oregon was beautiful but I had NO idea until I saw it in person! A couple weeks ago my favorite blogger babes and I packed up and headed to the cool temperatures of Oregon. We landed in Portland and after less than 2 hours (and one vineyard stop at Stoller) we were in Pacific City. This sleepy town along the water has some of the most beautiful coastline I’ve ever seen! And we were so happy to be staying at the Headlands Lodge so we could enjoy this view for days.
Headlands Lodge — Pacific City Oregon
Headlands Coastal Lodge is a new luxury destination located directly on the rugged Oregon coast. The resort is luxe, cozy, and so very accommodating. Beside having a delicious coast to kitchen restaurant and spacious spa, they specialize in helping you choose your own adventure! Their Adventure coaches will help customize your trip which for us included horseback riding on the beach and a late night bonfire.
But maybe you don’t want an adventure. Then just plan on staying in and enjoying the afternoon overlooking the beach on your private balcony. Or grab the Pendleton blanket in your room and wrap up in it on the beach. Maybe even plan a spa day but don’t miss the outdoor hot tub and fireplace overlooking the ocean.
What I really loved is that everything we wanted to do was easy to walk or bike to. We especially loved the coffee shop across the street and the brewery next door. Everything was so convenient…
This bonfire by the beach was such a special experience!
This entire outfit is on sale!
(And for the adventurers, activities include: Dory boats, surfing, running, climb the dune (we did and it’s 240 feet — it’s the highest in Oregon), biking, hiking, visit the tide pools, stand up paddleboard, kayaking, beach bonfires, ocean and river fishing, crabbing, bird watching and more!)
I want to thank Headlands for such an amazing stay. It’s a trip I’ll truly never forget and I’m already thinking about when to return to Oregon. I feel in love with the state and can’t wait to return!
