Every year I miss my own wedding anniversary.  Why?  Because every year I attend a conference that takes place on our special day. That means we usually celebrate a week or two later, but this year we never got around to it until June… and our anniversary was back in April!

So this year to celebrate our (very belated) anniversary, we made it extra-special.  We went to Diamonds Direct where I picked out a beautiful new wedding band.  My original one is very plain and I had been wanting to update it, so I was excited to see what I could find at Diamonds Direct. I found several rings that I loved, so I asked you guys  on Instagram Stories to help me decide. (You all were so helpful!!)  I wanted something different but that complemented my engagement ring.  And this Henri Daussi is just perfect!

If you haven’t heard of Diamonds Direct, let me fill you in.  They started as diamond wholesalers in Charlotte, North Carolina and have now expanded to 15 locations, and they continue to grow.  This award-winning purveyor of fine jewelry specializes in giving their customers personalized service and guidance, along with an unsurpassed selection of sparkling delights.  If you will be in the OKC area this weekend I suggest you join me this Friday to kick off their Destination Diamonds Designer Showcase weekend.

It will be a weekend of amazing deals, a cocktail party, drinks, and of course, diamonds!

Cocktail hour starts THIS Friday from 5:30-7:30 with hors d’oeuvres, wine, and live music by Justin Echols. In addition to their usual extensive collection, these designers will be featured: Kirk Kara, Artcarved, Christopher Designs, Christian Bauer, C. Gonshor, Gottlieb, and Color Jewels.  And for the guys, Bob Moore Porsche will be there. During the event you’ll receive a Diamonds Direct passport that you’ll want to get stamped from each designer… because then you’ll be entered to win a $500 gift certificate!

I’ll be there on Friday for the party so please find me and say hi!  If you can’t make it during the party, the store will be open later than usual during this event (closing at 8pm Friday and Saturday along with being open on Sunday.  Even though it’s going on all weekend long, I suggest coming for the event this Friday.  I’ll be there!  Diamonds Direct in Oklahoma City is located right across the street from Penn Square Mall on 5521 N Pennsylvania Ave.
