For the first time EVER I’ve been wanting a belt bag… or a fanny pack as it used to be called.  (Can you believe, the fanny pack is back!)  While they are completely functional, they always make me think of a poorly dressed tourist.  But then Gucci started sending them down the runway and I started coming across the vintage ones from Chanel.  Let’s just say my mind started to change…

So one day when I was scrolling through Storets I came across this striped dress that I’m wearing and noticed the model wearing a belt bag!

I really really really wanted one for this outfit but with it being such a trendy item, I want to find a good deal before I purchase. Until then, I’ll just keep searching The Real Real and Vestiaire Collective and let you know what I find.

So I have to ask… would you wear one?

But back to the dress — it’s HUGE!  I love how flowy it is but in all honestly it really would look best with a belt.  (Or belt bag.)  But I tried to make do with wearing my Gucci as a crossbody bag.  Since fashion is all about proportion you’re going to want to create a waistline in this dress.  (Unless you’re preggo and let me tell you this will work for any of you mommas-to-be.)
