Let’s talk trends and fashion week today…

First of all, let’s get to the dress!  This embroidered floral dress has SO MANY trends all wrapped up in one amazing piece.  As for details it has a ruffled yoke and embroidery on the collar and cuffs.  And if you’re still in a summer state of mind, this darling dress has a dark floral pattern that will definitely get you into the fall fashion mood.

Actually I was saving this dress for another post.  Since I noticed it’s starting to selling it out I knew I had to get it up ASAP.  So I’ll save the topic I was going to talk about for another time and get to what was on my mind this past weekend… fashion week.  Twice a year New York Fashion Week rolls around and I get asked if I’m going.  I really wanted to go but with some other trips coming up I knew it would be best I stayed home.

That being said I have major FOMO… because I truly love fashion week!  I love the shows and the parties.  I mean, of course it’s a blast!  But sometimes you have to do what’s best for business and for me that meant staying home and prepping for what’s to come.  Earlier this year I talked a little bit about it in the post.  But who knows — maybe if things are calmer I’ll be there in February.  Never say never, because if there are bubbles and clothes there’s a chance that I’ll be there!
