Once a week, R and I look forward to dressing up and going out on a date. So I thought it was about time I do a dressy, date night outfit for him and her post. We’re both major foodies so we always look forward to checking out a new restaurant or going back to one of our many favorites. We also love to cook… well, at least he does.
I’ve actually been wanting to do a food type post sometime, maybe once a month. I can assure you that even though I’m trying to change up my content I don’t plan on becoming Martha Stewart… like ever. Fashion will always be my first love and luckily I married someone who can tolerate my obsession. And honestly he doesn’t even mind it. In fact, I think there are times that he’s better dressed than I am…

As you know, one of my favorite places to shop is Nordstrom. We even took off the first day of our last trip to shop the NSale! (And by the way, if you’re ever at the Valley Fair Nordstrom in San Jose, be sure to order the ramen at RAAM.) I love that we can both split up and he can shop for his favorite brands while I can shop for mine. Nordstrom continues to be our number one shopping destination and today’s post just kind of proves it.
He recently purchased this polka dot Ted Baker shirt and he has several of these Ted Baker pants. Oh, and he’s been wearing these loafers all summer long! As for me, this lace dress can be worn now or come fall. It has all my favorite details — lace, off-the-shoulders, and a bow. Plus the straps are adjustable which means you’ll get a perfect and flattering fit.

This is what we wore during our recent date to Ludivine. It’s one of our go-to spots and I highly recommend it! So do you want to see more date night style posts? Let me know in the comments!
xoPost sponsored by Nordstrom. Thank you for supporting the brands that make AiW possible!
