I’m a fan of shoes that can be styled many different ways. While I tend to be a jeans-and-tee kind of girl, I’ve really been wanting to try out the button-front skirt trend I’ve been seeing lately.  These booties from Johnston & Murphy were the perfect complement to my skirt, and I know they’ll look just as cute with my favorite pair of distressed jeans.

As for black booties, has there ever been a more perfect-for-fall shoe? Dressy when they need to be and casual when you are — these heels go with just about everything! I paired them with this pullover sweater and grey frayed denim. I love the contradiction of the unfinished jeans with these polished pumps. Wouldn’t they also look amazing with a little black dress? I think that’s the next way I’ll style them.
