It’s beginning to feel like fall, and I know you all can feel it too.  The main sign that the season is changing at my house comes in the form of new shoes.  Apparently I’m not the only one.  On this recent Instagram I shared my latest bootie finds and I was floored by how much you guys loved them.  I guess we’re all a little shoe crazy right now!  Oh, and remember this post?  I finally grabbed a pair of those delightfully furry heels!  They’re just as fabulous as I hoped for, so stay tuned.

As we transition into the cooler weather of fall, I’ve been wearing these booties nonstop. While it’s mainly been with jeans, I decided to mix it up and paired them with this smocked dress instead. It was my first attempt but I think they worked out pretty well.  I’ve mentioned in the past how versatile they are and I’m just going to keep on saying it…

The color of these booties goes with everything!  So I hope you don’t get sick of seeing them because I can’t stop reaching for them.  They’re definitely coming with me on our trip to Peru.  I’m already excited that it’s going to be cooler there so I’ll be wearing this outfit again.  Or if it’s too cold, then with a fuzzy sweater layered on top of it.  Here’s what I’m thinking… it’s like a cozy little teddy bear. (Except you won’t look silly wearing it.)
