I still remember one of my first denim jackets.
It was covered in a mess of buttons, badges, and sequins. There was probably even more junk on it than I can remember! I wasn’t alone though, I’m sure plenty of you had that same awful style that you’re still wanting to forget. Today we thankfully have some better options of this classic jacket and it’s now a piece we should all have in our wardrobe…

This time of year we have to deal with warm days and cooler nights which in fashion we love to call ‘transitional dressing.’ Well guess what, the denim jacket is the ultimate transitional piece of the season! It’s been awhile since I’ve worn one too so I had to do some research, but I think I tracked down what I think is the perfect jacket! Not too heavy, not too light, and it has just enough of that worn out look. It’s going to be one of those pieces you’ll want to wear all the way up until fall.
Do you love denim jackets too? Did you ever own any of those crazy 80 or 90’s embellished ones? If so let me know in the comments — I promise I won’t tell anyone!
