Before arriving in New York City I had ordered this coat from Nordstrom to take on my trip.  Unfortunately, it didn’t arrive in time so I decided to track it down on my first day in the city.  After a quick search and a two mile walk, I discovered that the Nordstrom I walked to was actually a Nordstrom Rack.  I couldn’t believe there wasn’t one in NYC?!

While I never got my coat, it turned out to be a happy little accident…

On the way, I stumbled upon Greeley Square Park which had the cutest and tastiest looking treats.  From my recent trip to Chicago, I learned how delicious a Belgian liege waffle is and so I was excited to see a vendor who had them.  After stuffing my face, I wandered into SoHo and found quaintest Italian bistro where I enjoyed some great wine and the people and puppy watching.

Afterwards, I window shopped and stopped to admire the beautiful parks and churches along the way. It was another perfect fall day in Manhattan and I’m so happy I got to experience it before the rain moved in later that night.
