The Royal Hawaiian is one of the most famous hotels in Hawaii.  It opened in 1927 and became the first luxury resort on the island.  Known as the Pink Palace of the Pacific this hotel has kept its unique charm along with its iconic pink color.  Our first stop on the property had to be at the hotel’s Mai Tai bar for the namesake cocktail with a view of beautiful Waikiki beach.

Later that evening, I couldn’t wait to wear this stunning Milly black lace dress.  I knew it would photograph perfectly against this black and pink carpet hallway lined in orchids.  One of the magical parts of Hawaii are all the stunning flowers that seem to grow effortlessly!  Even when they’re out of sight their scents perfume the air.

Next month, I’m excited to announce that we’ll be heading back Peru and more specifically to one of my favorite cities Cusco.  We’ll be staying at the Palacio del Inka which is under the same Luxury Collection Hotels as The Royal Hawaiian.  And of course I’ll share pictures while we’re there!
