Last week I was so excited to participate in a fashion show in my hometown of Oklahoma City. We have some amazing stores and boutiques, and this event was a great way to bring them together and showcase all the great fashion OKC has to offer. Nichols Hills Plaza and Classen Curve are the premier shopping areas in the city where both played host to #FirstThursdaysFashionShow. It was a fun night of fashion, giveaways, charity, and of course shopping.
The event kicked off with a VIP party at the gorgeous boutique Liberté followed by fashion shows from Uptown Kids, CK and Company, Gretta Sloane, lululemon, Anthropologie, Red Coyote, and On a Whim. Fellow blogger (and fashion lover) Irene Gianos of The Op Life and I MC’ed the end of the show. I was so happy to have her there because this nervous girl is used to being behind a computer and not on stage! It was a great evening and I look forward to more #FirstThursdays events. By the way, if you have kids be sure to check their Facebook page for fun family nights happening throughout the year.
A BIG THANKS to Liberté for dressing me in this fabulous Nha Khanh dress and to blo for my gorgeous hair and makeup! Also, thank you to Kendra Scott for the lovely jewels — I can’t wait for their new store to open in Classen Curve!
And an even bigger thanks to everyone who came out to support the event — xo A
