I’m often asked how to dress for work.  Dressing conservatively at the office is best but awfully boring.  With colder temperatures on their way I look for simple pieces with luxe details.  These JMcLaughlin slim black pants are made of textured jacquard while this top features leather detailing.  They both have a modern yet almost 60s feel which you know I love.

To lighten up this not so basic black outfit, I added a bright bag and matching shoes.  Once evening rolled around I slipped into a leather skirt and out came the metallic strappy heels.  This is how I do day to night — monochromatic black and then bring on bold accessories!
