One of the number one questions I’m asked is, “what do you wear to work” or “how do I find work clothes that aren’t boring.”  Luckily, my day job doesn’t require a suit, so for me a typical work outfit consists of a blouse, a skinny pair of pants, and heels.   I also recommend owning several work appropriate dresses.  A dress is absolutely the easiest piece to throw on and go.  If you want to step up your work attire, I always suggest a statement piece of jewelry or a bright fun lipstick.  Both will perk up even the most basic black!

The necklace I’m wearing above is actually an Alice + Olivia belt but I prefer it as a necklace.  My advice is to always mix it up!  To clarify…I don’t really wear my Louboutin’s to work but let’s be honest, this is a fashion blog and who doesn’t love that red sole?
