Back in 2011, Ashley Olsen was photographed wearing a crocodile backpack.  Once the media found out how much said bag cost, the press went wild.  The Olsen sisters out luxed their luxury brand, The Row, by pricing that crocodile backpack at a modest 39k.

I’ll be honest, this trend is not one of my favorites.  I stopped carrying backpacks in college, and even then I carried a Kate Spade messenger bag instead of a backpack! While you won’t be seeing the crocodile number on my shoulder, I wouldn’t mind carrying one of these other bags…
