I’ve always loved vintage pieces because of their history or even just KNOWING there’s a story behind them. For me, tortoise and chambray feel vintage even if they’re not. (Speaking of chambray, I have worn this shirt so many times I’ve lost count… brunch chambray, European chambray, Okie chambray, and Canadian tuxedo chambray.)
But back to the vintage…
This ‘Blondes Preferred’ necklace was actually a pin from the 30s! Being a faux blonde I thought it suited me quite well. Another vintage necklace I had my eye on was made from a 1936 Olympics pin. These rare pieces were created by a local Oklahoma artist. Make sure and check out her amazing vintage jewelry at ThePinProject.net.
