Goodbye to Cusco, Machu Picchu, and all the little alpacas

To finish my post about Machu Picchu, the ride back down the mountain was equally as terrifying as the trip up.  (Here’s a picture of that road.)  My brother-in-law and mother-in-law heard me say words, or should I say combinations of words, that I have never uttered before in my life.  I had a MAJOR case of fear induced Tourettes!  They had a great laugh over my potty mouth and the couple sitting next to me got to listen to quite the show.

Regardless of my neurotic trauma, we had the perfect trip.  I want to thank my family for one of the most incredible adventures of my life.  I will never forget stepping onto the top of that mountain and looking down on those ancient ruins.  Another thing I will never forget is all the adorable llamas!  I wanted to take one home!  Since it wouldn’t fit on the plane I had to take home one of the fake variety.  Which is probably best because we know Foxy Roxy is a diva who wouldn’t share her toys…
