Time flew by and I couldn’t believe our getaway was already over!  We enjoyed the quiet elegance of the The James Royal Palm and look forward to returning.  If you want to stay away from the party scene of South Beach but still be in the middle of the action, this is the hotel for you.  I also must note that it’s very dog friendly, maybe next time our little Foxy Roxy will join us!

The highlights:

1. The key lime pie at the Florida Cookery was to die for.  (I had it twice!)
2. I loved waking up to an ocean view.
3. One word… caipirinhas.
