Today’s Travel Tuesday is a bit of a flashback.  I tend to be in Texas about every other month.  My family lives throughout the state and my husband and I love to go to Dallas for a quick and easy getaway once in while.

One of our favorite hotels in Dallas is The Stoneleigh.  It has the vintage feel I adore, with all the comforts of a new and modern hotel.  These photos were taken two years ago before it was acquired by Starwood Hotels.  I’m sure the art deco charm hasn’t gone anywhere, but just to be sure I think we may have to plan a trip to check…

If you find yourself hungry and staying in Dallas there are an overwelming amount of amazing restaurants to choose from.  I recommend La Duni for lunch, Abacus for dinner, and Fearings for Sunday brunch.
